Chartered Accountants Ireland are hosting an “open day” on the afternoon of Monday 28 March 2011 at the Institute at Pearse Street. The afternoon is aimed at students typically in their second year to which a career in chartered accountancy is an option which they might wish to explore in advance of the milk round. The idea is not to have a hard sell but to facilitate information sharing.
The session will cover:
- What is a chartered accountant
- Why choose chartered accountancy (including entry routes and masters options)
- Actions you should consider if you are interested in pursuing a career in accountancy.
There will be representatives of some of the leading firms as well as current students who will be able to answer questions.
