Comments on the value of the course: Very worthwhile, an accomplishment to have for the future and a wide variety of options open to me after completion.
Job Prospects: I can't quite answer this yet but in the coming weeks I am hoping to get a strong indication from potential Australian employers in regards to this.
Where are you now: I am a Regional Development Executive for the ECDL Foundation. I finish on August 31st and begin the journey to Canberra with my three children.
What advice would you give to others considering this course: It’s a short project over the course of two semesters and in Winter what better way to ignore the winter and arrive in June with an LLM. and a brighter future whatever the weather.Other comments:
There are many social and academic opportunities outside of the LLM. such as debating that you can get involved in. If you're busy it’s also possible to just focus on the course and meet some interesting new friends.
The Law faculty are excellent and the lecturers understand the wide diversity of people that enter the course so there is plenty of flexibility. Some three years on I still meet with friends whom have gone to the Inns.
The LLM. has helped me to secure a hopefully prosperous future in Australia and dispelled any doubts I had about my future.
