Mr. Ewan Plenderleith FIHI – President of the Irish Hospitality Institute and Ms. Svetlana Lebedeva receiving her certificate of achievement for reaching the finals of the graduate of the year, at the Irish Hospitality Institute Annual Awards 2008 in the Four Seasons Hotel.
Svetlana was a finalist in this year’s Irish Hospitality Institute’s Hospitality Graduate of the year competition. This is the third year in a row that a Griffith College graduate has been shortlisted. This award is open to all colleges in Ireland offering Hospitality Management programmes. Svetlana was also awarded the GCD graduate of the year award at this year’s graduation ceremony. This award was sponsored by the Irish Hospitality Institute and presented on the day by Ms. Natasha Kinsella – CEO of the IHI. Svetlana is currently working as Duty Manager with the Maldron Hotel Group. She is based in The Maldron hotel in the IFSC, Dublin.
