Imagine 一條石板鋪成的馬路 whose stones have become grooved 和光亮under the friction of thousands of footfalls.Or a 砍柴的斧子 that is scalloped and hollowed after countless years of 對木材的砍伐.Within both the 石板路上的erosion and 斧子上的擦傷，marks,traces and imprints of our daily life are imprinted on the materials themselves. These authentic traces are a record of how 我們的日常行為和習慣在interacted these materials.they contain all stories of our lives which we all 經歷的時間和人.
Introduction
所有被記錄下的真實生活故事，都是關于一個生命的存在或者是一個事件發生的有力證據。這些痕跡有的是我們的刻意紀錄下來的，有的是在我們無意識的情況遺留在周遭materials上的traces中。 clothing as a second skin in the sense they are a kind of bond between the interior of our being and the exterior. our daily behaviour,characteristics of  occupations, our living environment，and我們的fashion sence不停息而誠實的對我們的周遭一切進行著改造，而服裝作為與我們進行最多親密接觸的媒體紀錄了最多的wearer的personal identity information traces。這些traces都在隨時隨地紀錄和講述著一個關于我們生活的故事。
how can our clothing tell story of our daily life？I believe products only built an identity through use.產品只有與使用者共同經歷了時間的磨礪才會形成獨特的identity。這時這件產品的價值已經不在是簡單的設計，材料，品牌的價值，而更多的是關于與使用者建立起來的不可重復的情感上的聯系。looking to encourage a more emotional relationship between garment and wearer, we cannot ignore the life taces and ways that physical movement has shaped clothing. i am interested in the authentic traces,marks and imprints our daily lives leave on our clothes.  My project aims to celebrate the personal relationship built through wear,speaking of our daily behaviour,characteristics of  occupations,and our living environment.Rather than degrading with wear I believe textile discolouration,deformation and change of surface texture tells the story of use.
Background
綠色和生態設計是當今世界設計毫無疑問的熱門話題， 但是Emotional durability design開始被越來越多的設計師重視。 Our appetite for new products, 無論是由于 fashion or convenience，都會產生強大的environmental implications，這時我們的消費不會取決于產品的環保故事。“Modern Life is Rubbish”,  observes that “… the inefficient consumer machine continues to surge wastefully forth, but now it does so with recycled materials instead of virgin ones.”因此，雖然我們可以在設計產品的時候考慮到材料的環保性，但是我們更應該注重的還是object's emotional life span。
the telling project是希望通過provides tools and materials in designing emotionally significant garments的方法，實現sustainable and emotional relationship with clothing。當使用者與服裝共享同一個獨特的personal history，換句話說，擁有同一個生活故事。何時，何地 and參與過的人物都是significant elements of the narrative，這些都是我們要加諸在garment上的情感故事的重要元素。Designers can strategically create products that have more emotional relevance。他的主要目的是通過提高the relationship established between wearer and garment 的耐久性，從而減少消耗和浪費。更持久的關系，導致服裝的長時間使用，因此，較少的產品將被取代，從而減少對環境的影響，but the use 得以增加。
 
telling這個project主要是通過面料在使用過程中的可變化性，實現emotional durability design。age and develop “character” is important。服裝經過使用甚至是過度的使用，traces被我們創造出來，它們使得這件衣服被賦予了ownership and uniqueness.narrative and surface是這個project的key words，被創造在服裝上的traces can help to create narrative. surface is significant because the 服裝在持續的變化隨著被使用，褪色，變形和磨損。
 
運用Emotional durability design 通過建立使用者和服裝的情感聯系實現在 in the real world中 increasingly people demand the personal and individual identities and hope to display their different tastes. Therefore, people are looking forward the clothes, which can show their own personalities.并且基于人們的 appetite of clothing，在 fashion or convenience的刺激下，以及審美疲勞的產生和服裝的老化，都會使消費者就一件一成不變的服裝產生厭倦的心理。這時建立一個更為牢靠的emotional的聯系，加諸更多的生活故事元素在服裝上，使服裝的價值由使用價值上升到心理價值的層面。這也是在基于sustainability design基礎上的，對wearer使用garment方式的引導，建立新的服裝使用模式，使服裝被賦予了更多的ownership and uniqueness
