A notification (通知) from your favorite news app appears on your screen. You open it, and some pictures scroll (滾動) automatically to present you with the latest news. This kind of content is written and produced by people called content operators.
你一定有過這樣的體驗：喜歡的APP推送了一條通知，點開就能看到圖文并茂的新聞——這類信息是“內容運營”編輯推送的。
Xu Zhaoqi, 24, works as a content operator at an internet company. A content operator’s job varies according to the different projects they are tasked with. Xu is responsible for evaluating (評估) and editing news articles. She chooses which news articles users see when they open the app or the stories on the top trending (熱門的) list.
24歲的徐兆琪在一家互聯網公司做內容運營。據她說，內容運營的具體工作因他們所負責的項目而略有不同。用戶打開APP時彈出的文章是哪篇、哪些新聞能上熱搜榜單，這些都由徐兆琪負責。
“Being a content operator, the first thing you need to consider is what the target users are interested in,” Xu said.
“作為一個內容運營，目標用戶的興趣是你最應該去思考的。”徐兆琪說。
Xu also mentioned that there were several career (職業) paths related to the job. One possible promotion is joining the management team to direct fellow operators. Since being a content operator allows a deep insight (洞察) into a particular area, starting up her own business is also a possibility.
